About The Author

Jessica grew up in a small seaside town in Northern Ireland with her mum, dad, three siblings and whatever stray animals she could convince her parents to keep.

With both of her parents having a background in the arts, Jessica's early childhood was filled with art, literature and more importantly - lots of love and laughter.

​

Jessica went on to get a First Class Honours Degree in Fine & Applied Arts, but it was only when her own daughter was born, that she found her true passion - being a mum.

​

Combining her love of arts & crafts, literature and gentle parenting - Sock Stories was born. 

​

Jessica now lives back in the same seaside town she grew up in with her husband, daughter, 4 cats, 2 dogs and 3 fish -just waiting for that next stray animal to need a home!
